RUSSELL IS REAL?!

NO WAY!

National Treasure

...is an awesome movie.

My family and I watched it yesterday on some channel and it was one of the best family movies we've ever seen, I believe. I love how the actors/actresses don't laugh. Compared to my uncontrollable laughing personality, they did a pretty good job, making me believe the storyline and everything.

I wonder if there is a national treasure out there?

Hm, I also saw Spider Man 3 and Batman (the really old one, though I'm not sure if there's more than one Batman out there).
  • Spider Man 3 was ... ew. I didn't like it. Mary Jane is a fake screamer. Harry's a good friend, I guess. Peter is weird. That Venom dude was stupid. I didn't like the ending. Bleh. I could tell everything was fake?
  • Batman, I liked. Haha, the joker was funny/creepy/insane. When he spoke french, I was especially happy that I could understand it. :D & yeah; everything was really... old school.
 <3 Family bonding time!

Smelly Offense

Do you get offended when somebody gives you lotion or soap as a present?

My mother just so happens to joke around, "OH, they must think I'm stinky!" but I really do she somewhat means it on the inside, too.

I think it's perfectly normal. I mean, it's useful and it's something that you can't go wrong with, n'est-ce pas?

What are you afraid of?

Am I really that scary? (ROAR?)

I wish we were in a Kindergarten class. I would walk up to you and say, "Hi, my name's Emily. Do you want to be my friend?" Then, I'd offer a hand.
You would shyly take my hand and say, "Okay."
Together, we'd skip off to the playground and take turns pushing each other on the swing set.

Haha, what a big imagination I have, don't I?

If only...

Pee Worse

^ So, I went to do my English blog and my word verification just happened to be "PEEWORSE". This gave me a good laugh. :D

Joyeux Noël! [Part 2]

So, should I do a thank-you list? Naw, you guys know I love y'all anywho. Plus, I've got better things to do and it takes me forever to blog.

So, last year, Tracy's was the "the greatest Christmas present of all time" ; hence, the thank-you email.

& this year's:

Oh yeah. I am so awesome. :D Idk how I do this; things just pop in my way?

Overall, this year, I'm going to be honest; I was a little bit disappointed because people were such in a rush that they didn't actually put their time and effort(?) into their presents. Not that my presents were bad, they were mostly funny. I think I laughed/smiled so much that my jaw started aching. xD Anywho, let's get down to business:
  • My parents! <3 They got me running shoes, something that I needed because the doctor says that's why my leg's been hurting and whatnots and that I really wanted anywho. Maybe I can run faster now?! MEEP! They're orange! Well, the Nike check is. But, still!
  • Um, weirdest present? ROFL. Um, the Eskimo hat that my cousin got me. Oh dear. Otay, so when I opened it, my reaction was "Aeropostale? Typical, since I'm so preppy." Then, inside the box = a Hot Topic bag. My reaction then? "OH DEAR." Open open = PUNK HELLO KITTY TOE SOCKS AND A FURRY FURRY HAT. Me? "ASDJFKL;! I DON'T WANNA TOUCH IT! AHHH!" Sorry, Na. Um, I did put it on... just for laughs... and it's really warm? All I want to know is, "What was he thinking?" Just wondering. But, really... did it remind you of me? xD
  • ^ Oh, wait. Scratch that. My other aunt got me this...THING. It's a cookie jar, but in the shape of a mouse head. A VERY VERY CREEPY NEON BUG-EYED MOUSE HEAD. Um, needless to say, I'm not going anywhere near that thing. S'all cool. My family gets it, right?
Christmas was spent as so:

Wake up @ 10:00 AM.
Morning routine and then automatically to making royal icing.
Parents got home and we all went out to eat, the 7 of us @ Saigon Kitchen. YUM
Bought Buche de Noels for Fiona & Piano teacher. HI FIONA!
Home = gingerbread men!

 Then to Tiffer's.
Play with the kiddies & Christmas bondage = caroling and whatsnot.
OPENING PRESENTS! (Best part ever!) Why was I first again? x_O"
Go home.

Christmas Day:
Wake up & open presents @ home!
Brunch @ Saigon Kitchen (yes, again) with the family @ Tiffer's!
Hangout whole day? I forgot.

<3 Definitely the Greatest Time of Year!

What else? Thanks for all the presents! I really do love them all. They make me smile! & get ready for the New Year!

P.S. Thanks, Jessica. You really are an awesome Secret Santa & Partner-in-Crime.

<3 All the kids, sorta!

<3 My family! + Mikey? xD

Anybody who wanted to be in the picture?

Christmas [Part 1]

Did I mention I LOVE Christmas season?

The feel of the holidays just makes me smile. <3

Spending it with your loved ones makes everything even better.

& what else? Seeing my dad fall down a flight of stairs carrying my presents & my mom fall down while getting tangled in her jeans = priceless. Don't worry, it was only a few inches high.

To be continued...

Sailor Moon

Finally,

I'm not crazy. I'm not obsessed, either. I just really really love my childhood memories?

12/20/09

<3 Gee, y'all make me love you so. I can't help it. You guys just make me smile as if the world were ending and we weren't gonna see each other in a million years, but I know we will. Still, I smile. For the thought of all of us together.
  • Ice skating.
  • Chilling, literally, on the rink.
  • Holding hands = falling down, mans! (It felt safe to be with Jessica&Linda, though. <3)
  • Scurrying around in the rain, looking for a restaurant.
  • Getting rejected by tons of restaurants = ending up @ Safeway!
  • Food = love.
  • Picture.
  • //:Edit:// I forgot! We also held hands, me, Tam, Danica, & Brian. To feel each others' hand warmths? Yeah, normal people would've WTF-ed, but not us. We cool like that. S'how we roll?
The end for that day, but not forever.

Kaitlyn's Moment

"Let's play Chopsticks!"
*plays game with her*
 "Let's play Mailman!"
*plays Mailman*
"Ooh! I know a game that we can play on the bed!"
"... Can't you do it on the floor?"
"Yeah, but the bed's comfortabler."
"...What's the game called?"
"It doesn't have a name, but all you do is...
WAKE UP THE PERSON ON THE BED!"
"Oh, okay, Kait. We'll play once we get home."

^ Now tell me, what were you guys thinking?

NO WATER!

  1. It's 2:00 AM.
  2. I have no water because the house's sewer is clogged.
  3. Nobody can fix it.
  4. Did I mention that I didn't SHOWER yet?! or brush my teeth?!
  5. Oh yeah, what else? I just finished wrapping about 20 boxes of presents...

Sun & Moon

[inserthearthere]

Saturday, December 12, 2009

Today my dad and I went to the New Moon movie to see how bad it was and make fun of it. There is this one scene where Jacob takes his shirt off and almost every other girl besides me screamed. My dad then yells "He's so sexy!" as loud as he could and the whole theater got silent and stared at him. I love my dad. MLIA

^ I wish my dad was like that. But then again, I love him anyway.

Blog & Avocados

Do you ever get that feeling when you feel like you want to blog, but you're nowhere near a computer. You just have all these brilliant ideas that you must blog about, all those memories. Then, you get home, log on, and blank out. What's up with that? Or is it just me?

I've been meaning to blog about this a week ago, but ^ those moments just keep happening.

I went to Ocean Supermarket with my mom. As she was selecting fresh bags of string beans, I saw that some red bell peppers were jumping over the border to the string beans side. I took each one and put them on the correct side. I, then, saw 4 avocados at the bottom of the pile. I kept organizing and one more turned up! I rescued those 5 avocados and returned them to their home. I felt like a hero. That made my day.

: "I AM NOT OBSESSED WITH QUEST CREW BY SAYING THAT I WILL BE RYAN CONFERIDO'S WIFE!"

^Um, I hate to burst your bubble, but yeah. You kind of are obsessed, Paula.

True Friends

A while ago, I was feeling pretty... you could say, "down" about my friendships. I guessed I didn't try hard enough to make good friends or maybe I was such a bad friend that nobody wanted to try to be mines. Then,
  • I came across Oxnard's blog about how I was his best friend. Really, you think so? I guess not I've got to try to keep it that way, or else I'm going to lose that valuable ranking, eh?

  • I was searching for books to read when RandomHouse recommended this book:

It took me a couple of pages into this book to realize that you can't make great friends by reading a book. It's something you've just got to figure out. It's ... unexplainable?
  • Last Wednesday, I also went to G-Mall with the oldies, well, most of them. And y'know what? They made my Thanksgiving THAT much better. I don't care if they were thankful for having me, but I sure was thankful for having them at some point in my life, even if it doesn't last forever. <3
  • Watching "Tinker Bell & the Lost Treasure" also woke me up. True friends are there for you through the ups and the downs. One fight doesn't end it. It strengthens the friendship. Tinkerbell & Terrence = true fairy friends forever!
"The greatest treasures are not gold, nor jewels, nor works of art. They cannot be held in your hands. They're held within your heart. For worldly things will fade away as seasons come and go. But the treasure of true friendship will never lose its glow." -Fairy Mary
Thanks, y'all, for making my day life.

Kaitlyn's Cutie Moment

K: Will you play with me?
Me: Sorry, I've gots homework to do. ):
K: That's okay, I'll wait for you.
Me: Really? That's a long time.
K: Yep, I'll just play with these rocks until you're done. *starts making pictures with the rocks*
Me: Hey, what's 2 plus 2? *hops over to help her count*
K: Um, 4!
Me: 4 plus 4?
K: 8!
Me: Okay, what about--
K: Hey! Aren't you supposed to be doing your homework?
Me: ): Yes, but I'd rather play with you.
K: It's okay. I'll play Math by myself. * 1, 2, 3, 4, 5...

Man, she totally schooled me there. <3 Aw, gotta love her moments.

I truly, madly, deeply love my parents, my family, more than anything else in this world. <3 It's true. Family trumps friends. Sorry, guys.

Sailor Moon

^Remember that show? Well, I remembered that I was absolutely in love with that show in Preschool all the way to Kindergarten. Around that time span. Yes, that means I was 4 or 5 when I encountered "demons" and the "Negaforce's monsters" ... & yet, when I watch it now, why am I slightly afraid? I must have been one tough cookie back in those days.

& yes, maybe Jessica was right; maybe the show was originally created for "pervy guys", but hey, that doesn't mean WE can't watch it. In fact, I think Sailor Moon shows quite a lot of feminism. & nobody even notices the super short skirts and super skin exposure. They're freaking girl superheroes. Who have super powers! Who defeat monsters! & who interacts with super cute Tuxedo Mask!

TUXEDO MASK > EDWARD CULLEN.
<3

Screw guys.

Yeah, I said that.

SCREW HIM, ESPECIALLY!
What a jerk. What a cute jerk. ASDFJKL;!

Jeopardy!

I got two answers correct today!

First one was a picture of a guy playing the violin while Rome burned down. IT WAS NERO! Thanks, Ms. Ng! Who knew it would ever come in handy!?

Second was the sound of a nocturnal dog-like animal in South Africa. IT WAS A HYENA! Haha! Thanks, Lion King!

So proud!

Taylor Swift on SNL

I officially love her that much more. I mean, how cool was her "musical monologue"!

KUNG FU PANDA SELLING HIS DAD'S SECRET INGREDIENT NOODLE SOUP! Dang, I would've voted that the best costume EVER.

*Oh yeah. I forgot to mention: I got my mom to spray-paint her hair blue. Totally blue. I must admit, my mom is pretty awesome. My dad said his hair already looked too good. <3 Parents.

*Sigh. These are the memories.

World History's Hitler

Nolan was sniffing a black Mr. Sketchy. I guess Brandon tried to shove it up his face or something, so he ended up with a black line on his upper lip.

He may talk like one, but he is no Hitler.

Chemically Oxnard

Hi Ox, nard?

Durian & Jackfruit.

I lost my Durian bet with Paula. I finished my punishment of 10 push-ups and 10 sit-ups.

Next, is the Jackfruit bet. I am currently kicking her arse, but what the hey, it's only the first day.

& Light the Night = a night of pure fun. Tag & tunnels. What more could you ask of it?

It's officially my Taylor Swift Day!

  • She performs on Dancing with the Stars: "Jump & Fall" and "Love Story" !
  • I got tickets to her concert! ASDFJKL;! In my city! OMG! Thank you so much, Di Bi!
The cons of today? Getting run over by some impolite old man on a golf cart who didn't even say sorry!

Ack, who cares? I GOT TICKETS TO SEE TAYLOR SWIFT!

Friday, October 23, 2009

I cried today.

Of laughter.

In Woods class, we had a debate about slavery. Here were the highlights [of my day]:

  • Brian (Slave): How would you feel if we whipped you!? LET ME WHIP YOU RIGHT NOW!
  • Nolan (Slaveowner): I DARE YOU! DO IT! DO IT!
  • Nolan: You all are just tools. We are people!
  • Brian: WHY?! JUST 'CAUSE OURS ARE BIGGER?!
^ROFLROFL. <3

It truly is sad, knowing that a lot of Asians do  not know what a durian is.
What's worse is that some believe it is a person. ):

Weekend Update

Sat: PSATs. Math was a-okay. English was just OK. (Circumspect! & Beloved!) I love how you learn things while doing a test. After reading all those passages, I was kept on going, "Wow, I never knew that, but now I do."

Sun: AIDS walk. I convinced Tracy to go. Yay! We ran/walked/ran/walked/ran the 5.2 miles. Funfunfun. "Shake it! -Metro Station"

Busy Weekend & Dessen

Shoo, I'm going to be bored of y'all, due to the fact that I'm going to be seeing you guys 12 days in a row. Geez, let's hope I don't get bored of y'all. Just playing. Saturday = PSATs. Sunday = AIDS walk. Let's see, oh, that's right. NO TIME FOR SLEEPING IN. & if you don't know me yet, waking up early is not my thing. Not at all.

Just finished Sarah Dessen's "Along for the Ride" ... It's pretty good, well, good enough not to hear Keuter telling me to stop reading in his class. TWICE. Oopsies?
It wasn't as great as her other books; the first book's usually the best, and in her case, I believe so. I was glad she put the World of Waffles in there, connecting this book with the others, but there was too much similarity between this one and her other books. However, I did fall for Eli, just not as much as I thought I would have. I mean, come on, it's a Dessen male lead! Anywho, I thought overall, it was a good read. It just wouldn't make it into my top ten.

"It was terrible and awful when someone left you. You could move on, do the best you could, but like Eli had said, an ending was an ending. No matter how many pages of sentences and paragraphs of great stories led up to it, it would always have the last word" (278).

^It's kind of like, "The end justifies the mean." (-Machiavelli)

Freaking Nikons.

I swear, one day, when I make some money, the first thing I'm going to spend it on is some nice, high-quality, Nikon camera. I really love my pink digital, but I can rarely capture those awesome "in air" moments, those "clear but blurry" moments, those AWESOME moments, y'know?

You know you love that baby.

That is a muy awesome photo.
Notice how it focuses on Jerm and yet, Chris just pops out from the background.

But, then again, shouldn't I be living the moments, instead of capturing them?
